Adult Bible Classes

The Adult Bible Communities are more than Sunday School classes. We get great teaching in class, but we also have a great time of prayer for each other. It's hard to get to know someone in one hour only once a week. That's why we have great socials to get to know each other better. We also help each other move, with repairs, bring meals when someone is sick or has a baby, celebrate each others blessings and cry together during the trials. We are more than a class, we are a community.
Here's what you can expect from each of the following ABCs:
B-W-I-S-E
- Biblically-based, application-oriented teaching with heavy class interaction
- Welcoming, inclusive fellowship (Sunday mornings and quarterly outside of church)
- Intercession and prayer
- Service to the body (at least one project each year)
- Evangelism and outreach (at least one project each year)
For more information about any of these classes, contact the ABC Shepherd for that class.

Our class is starting a new series on Philippians called "Living Joyfully In Spite Of Circumstances."
We pray & study together every week and pursue friendships beyond the church walls.

Koinonia
9:00 a.m. - Room 303
As the Koinonia Adult Bible Study Class, we strive to reflect the true nature of our name "Koinonia." Koinonia is the Greek word for "Fellowship" and its usage in the days of the early church was as "a community intent on a common purpose, sharing our joys and pains in our journey together." As a fellowship we are blessed to have the teaching of Todd Bolen, monthly get-togethers, outreaches, and a commitment to support each other in prayer.
We are currently doing a study of “Genesis to Revelation: What It All Means” with weekly “Preparation for Study” handouts.
Our new home groups meet every other week for food, fellowship, discussion of the last lesson, and prayer.
We have a lot of fun on our journey to know God, serve Him, and glorify His Name—please come join us!
And let us consider (discover) how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near. Hebrews 10:24-25

The Vineyard
10:30 a.m. - Room 2
(John 15:5 NET) “I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me – and I in him – bears much fruit, because apart from me you can accomplish nothing."
The Vineyard is an adult Bible class for single and married adults. Through God's leading (and pruning!) we grow together as we spend time praying and branching out into His word.
Please join us as we resume part two of our study of 1 Samuel. While the people and events of this book are from long ago and far away, the struggles these men and women faced are the same as ours today, as we seek to please God.
In addition to our Bible Study time, The Vineyard emphasizes prayer, encouragement and fellowship. We are intentionally intimate in our conversations with one another so that God will use us to encourage each other in our daily walk with Him. We believe that as we build each other up, each of us produces more fruit and becomes more effective for God and His purpose for our lives.
We encourage each other to share our faith in the workplace, home and throughout our world. Intertwining love for God and obedience to His commands compels us to be His witnesses and to sharpen each other for God’s service.
Come join us in The Vineyard where it is warm and you are always welcome.
